Majutex Textile Group is a group of companies specialized in textile trading, weaving, garment manufacturing and fabric wholesale. In 1978, the group started up with Perniagaan Leng Huat, a sole proprietor, as a local fabric wholesaler. Over the years, reputation had been built up through the increasing number of our satisfied clients. In 1983, we expanded our business and established our headquarter in Penang, Malaysia.
Satifying the needs of vary customers, we incorporated Sri Majutex Sdn. Bhd. as the textile trading arm, providing high-quality textile wholesale services as well as importing and exporting from/to foreign countries such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Indonesia. Majutex has become one of the leading importers for fabric goods from the emerging market, connecting the world's factory, China since 1990s. Targeting to serve local market effectively, Majutex has established strong relationships with the suppliers for stable source of quality-focused textile products. Perniagaan Leng Huat was then restructured to become a retail division, mainly provided custom-made curtain, bedding products and fabric for home and commercial use.
Following 1997, Lippotex Industries Sdn. Bhd. was founded as the apparel manufacturing company, largely producing uniform, adult and kid's clothing, sportswear, and accessories for the local and export market. With our expertise in textile, we further expanded our business to the weaving industry. We established Syarikat Perniagaan Lippotex Sdn. Bhd. as our textile weaving company. We acquired machineries, operators, technicians, and weaving specialists to produce a wide range
of workwear and office furniture fabric for different industries and government units.
Stepping into year 2003, we determined to systemize the group of companies and move further towards the well-organized enterprise. To increase our management effectiveness, we centralized the group of companies and established our new headquarter in another location of Penang, Malaysia. Meanwhile, we are in the planning of opening multiple sale agencies and offices in other locations of Malaysia, including Johor and Kuala Lumpur to expand our sales network.
With our well-planned organization, experienced staff, expertise in fabric, and positive corporate goals, our client number has been growing enormously over the years. Today, our customers came from a variety of industries, ranging from government units and international big-brand apparel corporate, to local manufacturing plants and businesses.
In the near future, we aim to further improve our textile weaving and trading services, to provide more variety of high-quality fabric that we manufactured and imported from countries over the world. In addition, we will continuously seek improvements in our apparel manufacturing production, targeting to increase the quality, product breadth, and volume.
